Arabian Research Bureau (ARB) proudly participated in Logistics Day 2025, held at the iconic Al Bustan Palace in Muscat. The event, organized under the patronage of Sayyid Saud bin Hilal Al Busaidi, Governor of Muscat, served as a strategic gathering for key players in Oman’s logistics and supply chain industries. One of the event’s key moments was a speech delivered by Abdullah Ali Al Busaidi, Director General of the Oman Logistics Centre at the Ministry of Transport, Communications, and Information Technology (MTCIT). He underscored the growing impact of the logistics sector, noting that it contributed RO 2.25 billion to Oman’s GDP in 2024. By 2040, this figure is projected to reach RO 36 billion, highlighting the sector’s critical role in economic diversification and national growth.
The event also witnessed the signing of 18 major agreements with a combined investment value exceeding OMR 100 million. Key projects include the construction of an LNG berth, coastal protection works for the Marsa LNG project, dredging of a navigational channel, and the establishment of a gold refining facility at Muscat Airport’s Logistics Gateway.
ARB used this platform to announce the launch of LOGISTEX 2025, a dedicated regional logistics and supply chain exhibition. Scheduled for November 16–17, 2025, at the Oman Convention and Exhibition Centre (OCEC), LOGISTEX is powered by MTCIT and is set to become the premier event for logistics innovation and collaboration in the region.
LOGISTEX 2025 will showcase the full logistics ecosystem — including freight, warehousing, ports, last-mile delivery, cold chain logistics, transport technologies, and sustainable supply chain solutions. It will also feature tailored B2B matchmaking zones to foster business partnerships.
Complementing the exhibition, the LOGISTEX Conference will bring together top industry leaders, innovators, and policymakers for insightful discussions on the future of logistics, digital transformation, and regulatory frameworks that align with Oman Vision 2040.
With Oman’s strategic geographic location and expanding infrastructure, LOGISTEX 2025 aims to reinforce the Sultanate’s position as a global logistics hub. By bridging government initiatives with private sector innovation, the event is set to drive real impact across Oman’s logistics value chain.
